Genealogies of Modernity Podcast Recap

We recently posted our final episode of the new season of the Genealogies of Modernity podcast! This eight-episode podcast was produced by Ryan McDermott (Producer and Genealogies of Modernity Project Director), Maria Devlin McNair (Senior Producer and Script Editor), Jack Pombriant (Sound Designer), and Zachary Davis (Executive Producer, Ministry of Ideas). It was released as a limited series of Ministry of Ideas and supported by a Media Production Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities in collaboration with the Collegium Institute for Catholic Thought & Culture (University of Pennsylvania) and Beatrice Institute (Pittsburgh). The podcast is the results of hundreds of hours of work; engagement with dozens of senior and early career researchers; and conversations at venues like the recent Genealogies of Modernity colloquium at the University of Pittsburgh.

Check out our podcast page to view episodes 2.12.8. Individual episodes are accompanied by videos, further reading, teaching resources, and response essays from this journal. We hope you enjoy the series, and please continue to share with anyone interested in the humanities, history, or questions of modernity!
