In a podcast interview with the New Books Network, Ricardo Cubas Ramacott discusses his book The Politics of Religion and the Rise of Social Catholicism in Peru (1884-1935). It offers a new genealogy for Peruvian liberation theology and the intellectual and social milieux it emerged from.
